Coltons Point Marina
is situated on the serene and protected
St. Patrick's Creek, just off the majestic
Potomac River in historic St. Mary's County,
Maryland.
Coltons Point Marina
(formerly Kopel's Marina) was founded in
1961 by Bob and Carl Kopel. Through the
Kopel brothers' efforts the marina was expanded
and quickly became known as one of the top
rated wooden boat specialists in the Chesapeake
Bay area. During the 60's and 70's the marina
crew designed and built numerous pleasure
boats as well as performed major restoration
and marine repair. In the recent years,
the marina services have been expanded to
include gas and diesel repower, refitting,
awlgrip paint, fiberglass and wood repair,
blister repair, and much more. The current
owners purchased the marina in 1999 and
continue the Kopel tradition of providing
exceptional service, and a well run and
well maintained facility.
We offer open and covered
slips to 65 feet, in and out dry land storage
for boats up to 25 feet, and land storage

talented staff can meet all of your service
needs. We offer quality service at fixed
